Our personal attendants join our team after completing a 5-step hiring process:
  1. Face-to-Face Interview
  2. Background Check
  3. Pass a Drug Screen Pre-Employment
  4. Complete personal attendant, CPR, Emergency Response, First Aid Certification Training
  5. A Physical with a Clean Bill of Health, including a Negative TB Test
  • Our personal attendant retention rate is 68% compared to the national average of 46%. This is due, in part, to the recognition we give, appreciation we show, and the level of ongoing training we provide.
  • We are the only non-medical home care agency in the area with an in-house personal attendant simulation training facility, which we offer free of charge to clients and their families.
  • Our highly trained personal attendant teams and case managers bring extensive experience in caring for clients with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes.
  • We have an on-site training lab with DME and both non-medical and medical supplies for quality, hands-on training.
  • Our team has trained many family members for FREE since 2009.
  • Our team supports individuals and their families by partnering with medical professionals to ease the transition from hospital or rehab to home.
  • Our services are privately paid. For clients with long-term care insurance, Sage Home Care submits care notes directly to the insurer for reimbursement.
  • We’re proud to be the only non-medical, in-home care agency in the area that offers Pet Therapy with our certified dogs — at no cost to clients.
  • We provide a free in-home assessment to help determine the right care for your loved one.
