The Sage Personal Attendant Training Lab was founded in 2007 out of passion, necessity, and frustration with the lack of advanced training opportunities. It provides Sage Home Care employees with hands-on training in the latest techniques and equipment, while also serving as a valuable community resource.
Our Curriculum
The Sage orientation and family personal attendant training is built from a combination of Alzheimer’s Association Certification, American Red Cross training materials and certifications, Foundations of Personal Attending curricula, and additional educational resources. Client-specific training and ongoing education are also available on an individualized basis. In addition to written coursework and role-playing exercises, personal attendants gain hands-on experience using a 164-pound human model in realistic scenarios.
The Sage Personal Attendant Training Lab is where our highly trained and compassionate team is developed. Here, we provide the tools, materials, and equipment that further enhance the skills and knowledge of our exceptional personal attendants.
The lab offers the perfect environment to learn how to provide expert in-home and assisted living services.
